Indexel
WordPress Developer
2015 – 2017
Role & Context
At Indexel, I worked as a WordPress developer delivering client web projects through an agency model. This was a formative period of professional front-end development — building production sites end-to-end, managing the full project lifecycle from brief to delivery, and developing the discipline of client-facing work: scoping, iteration, and maintaining quality under timeline pressure.
Key Achievements
WordPress Project Delivery Delivered multiple WordPress-based projects across the agency's client portfolio, handling theme development, plugin customization, and CMS configuration. Working within WordPress's ecosystem at this stage built strong foundational skills in template architecture, PHP-driven rendering, and content management workflows — knowledge that later informed my approach to headless and decoupled CMS architectures.
Full Project Lifecycle Managed projects from brief through to deployment: requirements gathering, implementation, client review cycles, and go-live. Early exposure to the full lifecycle — rather than isolated development tasks — accelerated professional maturity and the ability to own delivery end-to-end.
