Jellynote

Front-End Developer

2021

Vue.jsJava

Role & Context

At Jellynote, I contributed front-end development to a specialized web application for music learning — a product serving a global community of musicians with sheet music, tablature, and interactive learning tools. The context was a product-focused environment rather than agency delivery, requiring a different mode of work: understanding user flows deeply, iterating on UI for a specific audience, and contributing within a product team cadence.

Key Achievements

Music Learning Application Development Developed front-end features for the Jellynote platform using Vue.js, extending the application's learning and discovery surfaces. Work spanned UI components, interactive elements, and integration with the Java backend — a cross-stack engagement that reinforced front-end/back-end interface design discipline.

Product Context Operating within a product company — rather than as an agency contractor — provided direct exposure to the product development cycle: user-driven feature prioritization, A/B thinking, and front-end decisions shaped by retention and engagement goals rather than purely by delivery milestones.

Technical Stack

Core: Vue.js, Java (back-end integration) Context: SaaS product, music-tech, international user base
