Maisons du Monde
Front-End Developer
2021
Role & Context
At Maisons du Monde via Neolynk, I contributed to front-end development of the core e-commerce platform for one of Europe's leading home decor and furniture retailers. The engagement was focused and technical — delivering well-scoped front-end features within an established codebase, with a clear emphasis on quality and compatibility with existing architecture.
Key Achievements
E-Commerce Platform Development Developed front-end features and components for the Maisons du Monde e-commerce website, building within the Nuxt.js architecture to extend product browsing, catalog display, and purchase flow surfaces. Work was integration-focused: producing components that fit cleanly into the existing design system and maintained consistency with the broader platform.
Vue.js / Nuxt.js Delivery Applied Vue.js and Nuxt.js patterns in a commercial e-commerce context with real scale constraints — a useful complement to agency project work, providing exposure to the operational realities of a retail platform with active user traffic and business-critical uptime expectations.
